History

In Saint-Aubin, the family’s ancestral home, Barbara Miolane represents the seventh generation and continues to cultivate the vines with passion.

History

Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the estate spans 9 hectares across the villages of Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet. Our vineyards, featuring an exceptional heritage of old vines, are sustainably managed.
The estate produces 13 cuvées of red and white wines, suitable for aging yet enjoyable in their youth.

Barbara Miolane

Curiosity, empathy, and humility—three words that guide Barbara Miolane in her daily work.
She joined the estate in 2005 after earning a professional baccalaureate in wine commerce from the Grandchamp Rural Education Center. Barbara quickly immersed herself in the trade, learning viticulture and winemaking alongside her father, Patrick.
As he gradually stepped back, she took on the role of orchestrating the estate, supported by a reliable team.
A mother of two boys, Barbara is well aware of the challenges women face in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Yet, she meets this challenge with a confident blend of firmness and grace.

Expertise

Over generations, the estate has adapted its practices with a single objective: to bring out the best in its terroirs.

Domaine Miolane’s philosophy centers on sustainable practices in both vineyard and cellar. Harvesting is done by hand with a dedicated team, following the tradition in Bourgogne.

The estate produces 8 cuvées of white wines and 5 cuvées of red wines. Their flagship vineyard is the historic Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Les Perrières.
